About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the homebuilding process. You will work within a specific department or functional area to gain exposure to professional operations. The program includes project work, research, reporting, and jobsite observation. You will rotate through different areas to learn how various teams support the business. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations at your assigned office, field location, or jobsite.
- Assist with administrative tasks, coordination, and department-specific projects.
- Learn industry terminology, company policies, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to understand how different functions support the customer experience.
- Participate in training programs, meetings, and departmental rotations.
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner.
- Travel as needed, which may include occasional overnight trips.
- Work overtime when business needs require.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university, entering your junior or senior year, or recent graduation.
- Degree pursuit in Business Administration, Finance, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Interest in learning about careers in homebuilding, land development, or financial services.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and adapt to different work environments.
- Candidates pursuing an advanced degree are also eligible to apply.
