About the role#
The D.C. United Ticket Sales & Service team is looking for students to join us for the Spring 2027 semester. This program introduces you to the sports industry with a focus on the sales process. You will work alongside our staff, gain experience, and participate in an intern cohort that handles interdepartmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Actively sell D.C. United ticket products.
- Participate in sales training and make calls to prospective buyers.
- Assist Account Executives and leadership with the creation of sales campaigns.
- Handle administrative tasks, including data entry, research, and lead generation.
- Support matchday operations, such as setting up sales tables, running fan experience programs, and hosting prospect meetings.
- Represent D.C. United and DC Power FC at offsite grassroots marketing events.
- Attend all required onboarding and offboarding sessions.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active college student receiving course credit for this internship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and clients.
- A coachable, hardworking, and positive attitude with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in basic computer programs like Excel and PowerPoint.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Washington, DC.
- The term runs from late January 2027 to late April 2027.
- The role is hybrid. You will work in person at Audi Field from Tuesday to Thursday, with other days being optional or virtual, excluding match or event days.
- You must be available to work at least 25 hours per week.
- This is an unpaid internship.
