Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and contributing to a team culture that prioritizes empathy, energy, and enthusiasm.

What you'll do#

• Manage patient care programs and advise on prescriptions.
• Assist in the management of chronic and specialty conditions.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and pride.
• Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
• Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Perform physical tasks including scanning, bagging, and moving items, as well as maintaining standing positions for extended periods.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.

• Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
