Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient care, inventory management, and workflow operations while gaining professional experience in a healthcare setting.

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient and display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.

• Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver improved health outcomes.
• Align team members around the company purpose of supporting patient health.
• Manage pharmacy tasks including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Perform physical duties including scanning, bagging items, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, as is immunization eligibility.
