Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting the team in achieving better health outcomes for customers.

What you'll do#

• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Manage and promote patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
• Facilitate a team culture defined by enthusiasm, pride, and collaboration.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Align team members around the goal of delivering high-quality health care outcomes.
• Perform physical tasks including scanning and bagging items, lifting up to 20 lbs, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Employment Type: Part-time, paid.
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.75 per hour.
