Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will play a critical role in delivering patient care and supporting pharmacy operations. Under the supervision of a preceptor and in accordance with state law, you will gain professional experience through the ExperienceRx program while contributing to patient health outcomes and team performance.

What you'll do#

• Participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process.
• Provide patient counseling and assist customers with pharmacy and front-store inquiries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
• Support team initiatives to improve pharmacy performance and patient service.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
• An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of employment.
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
• Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
