Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and contributing to a team culture focused on empathy, enthusiasm, and professional growth.

What you'll do#

• Support patient health through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes and facilitate a positive, energetic culture.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Communicate information and instructions clearly to both colleagues and customers.

What you'll need#

• Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Possession of, or progress toward obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
