Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, efficient retail pharmacy environment while assisting with patient care programs, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do#

• Provide compassionate care to patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve health outcomes and deliver exceptional service.
• Support a positive team culture through energy, enthusiasm, and professional pride.
• Assist with pharmacy operations, including patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required by state law.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
