Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a critical role in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and modeling company values. This is a part-time, paid position based in Rensselaer, New York.

• Deliver exceptional care to each patient as part of the pharmacy team.

• Manage pharmacy inventory and daily workflow.

• Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required by state guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Location: Rensselaer, New York.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $18.00 - $42.00 per hour.
• Status: Part-time, paid internship.
