About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment and providing care to patients. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Clifton, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Participate in patient care programs to assist customers.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet the necessary state regulations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver care to patients.
- Assist with inventory management and daily workflow tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Current intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
