Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe and effective environment while delivering high-quality care to patients. This position is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to every patient and lead with empathy and compassion.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Maintain a safe and effective work environment.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for typing and scanning.

What you'll need#

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
