Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and assisting with clinical and operational tasks, including patient safety, inventory management, and workflow support.

What you'll do#

• Support the health of patients through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and team members.
• Collaborate with the team to seek new ways to grow and deliver improved health outcomes.
• Facilitate a culture of caring, enthusiasm, and pride within the pharmacy.
• Align team members around the company purpose to provide quality care in every interaction.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing precision and finger dexterity to manage pharmacy inventory and equipment.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward, required intern or technician licensure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
• Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
