About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to patients. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while assisting with patient care programs to support customer health. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients while modeling company values.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Provide immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Assist with pharmacy operations including inventory and workflow management.
- Maintain a safe environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Possession of, or progress toward, a valid intern or technician license.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
