Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide essential support in a retail pharmacy setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining a safe pharmacy environment, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional patient care and display empathy toward patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment by adhering to regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow processes.
• Participate in and manage patient care programs to support customer health.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Perform physical tasks including scanning, bagging, and lifting up to 20 lbs, as well as maintaining mobility for extended periods.
• Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.

• Compensation: $18.00 - $19.75 per hour.
