About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while delivering care to patients. This role is part-time and offers the chance to gain professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Assist with inventory management, workflow management, and quality assurance.
- Communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Location: Fairlawn, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- This position is paid and part-time.
