About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor to gain professional experience. This role focuses on patient care and pharmacy operations in a community setting. You will participate in the ExperienceRx program while contributing to the daily functions of the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Handle all parts of the prescription filling process.
- Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications.
- Work with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations to customers.
- Manage pharmacy inventory levels and organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern License in the state of California.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
