About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing pharmacy operations, and participating in patient care programs. This is a part-time, paid position focused on professional growth and improving health outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Participate in patient care programs to help customers manage their health.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Align team members around the goal of improving health outcomes.
- Perform tasks such as inventory management, workflow management, and customer service.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour.
- Status: Part-time, rolling term.
