Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor to gain professional experience in a community healthcare setting. This role is part of the Summer 2026 term and focuses on delivering patient care while developing your skills in pharmacy practice and operations.

What you'll do#

• Participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process.
• Provide patient counseling and assist customers with pharmacy and front store questions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
• Support the pharmacy team in maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
• An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of California.
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
• Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
