Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program to gain professional experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, effective environment while assisting with daily pharmacy operations.

What you'll do#

• Ensure patient safety and maintain regulatory compliance within the pharmacy.
• Assist with quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow processes.
• Provide excellent customer service and support patient care programs.
• Participate in required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
• Once state regulations are met, work toward providing patient immunizations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, a valid intern or technician license.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching or stooping to manage inventory.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
