Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the pharmacy team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, maintaining a safe retail pharmacy environment, and supporting patient care programs. You will be expected to model company values and foster a team culture centered on empathy, energy, and collaboration.

What you'll do#

• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Support patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching or bending to move items.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
