Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting pharmacy operations. This is a part-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Manage and adopt patient care programs to support customer health.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver improved health outcomes.
• Facilitate a culture of caring and enthusiasm within the pharmacy.
• Support daily operations including inventory management, workflow management, and quality assurance.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.
• Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.
