About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to provide care to patients. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This is a part-time position located in University Heights, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to each patient while working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Perform pharmacy professional practice, including workflow management and quality assurance.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- A valid intern or technician license, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and the required timeframe.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, remain upright for extended periods, and lift up to 20 lbs.
