Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in patient care, inventory management, and workflow operations, contributing to the quality of care and health outcomes for patients.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients and customers.
• Manage and support patient care programs to maintain health.
• Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
• Facilitate a team culture characterized by energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Perform tasks related to patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Assist with immunization efforts once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or the ability to obtain it as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
