About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will gain professional experience by assisting with daily operations, patient care programs, and team collaboration. This is a part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and provide immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Manage pharmacy tasks including inventory, workflow, and quality assurance.
- Follow regulatory requirements and professional practice standards.
- Lead with empathy to support patients, caregivers, and your pharmacy team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to reach better health outcomes and promote a positive team culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a regular schedule, including nights and weekends.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
