Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your didactic pharmacy school learning into real-world practice to prepare for a future Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to provide a broad overview of store, district, and regional operations. This is a paid, part-time summer 2026 opportunity based on-site.

What you'll do#

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation to manage and improve patient health.
• Provide compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems and interacting with patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap for skill development, including Key Learning Experiences and activities.
• Contribute to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset and remaining receptive to feedback.
• Perform pharmacy workflow procedures including prescription fulfillment and inventory management.

What you'll need#

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks over a period of time and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Ability to work in a team environment, including nights and weekends as required for the role.
