About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will serve as a key member of the pharmacy team, focusing on patient care, regulatory compliance, and workflow management. This position involves direct patient interaction and requires a commitment to providing quality care while gaining professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards of pharmacy professional practice.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Lead with empathy and help foster a team culture of energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver consistent care and support our purpose.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
- This is an on-site role.
