Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment, contributing to patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and workflow management. This is a part-time position for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to seek new ways to grow and deliver better health outcomes.
• Align team members around the company purpose of supporting patient health.
• Facilitate a culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precision tasks.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including reaching, stooping, and visual inspection of small parts.

• Pay Range: $18.75 - $21.75 per hour.
