Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role supports patient health by managing patient care programs and assisting with daily pharmacy operations, including inventory management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do#

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing precision control to move or scan items.
• Communicate instructions clearly to colleagues and customers.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it as required by state guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
