About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. This role focuses on patient care, workflow management, and maintaining a safe environment for our customers. You will gain professional experience while contributing to the health and well-being of the patients we serve.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to support customer health.
- Handle workflow management tasks, excluding final prescription verification.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods and perform tasks such as lifting, reaching, and bending.
