About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering quality care to patients while you gain professional experience. You will collaborate with the pharmacy team to manage daily operations and patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Support patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage inventory, pharmacy workflow, and quality assurance tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service and provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Seek new ways to collaborate and improve health outcomes.
- Align team members around the company purpose to provide quality care.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Location & details#
- Location: Hillsborough, New Jersey.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
