Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role focuses on delivering quality care, managing patient programs, and ensuring a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. You will be expected to demonstrate empathy for patients and colleagues while contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and team members.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and collaborate with others to deliver better health outcomes.
• Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a culture of energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Assist with patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precise tasks.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

• Compensation: $18.75 - $21.75 per hour.
