Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering quality care, managing patient care programs, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations, including patient safety, workflow management, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do#

• Deliver care by modeling company values and demonstrating empathy for patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Manage and adopt patient care programs to support customer health.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes enthusiasm, pride, and collaboration.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, quality assurance, and inventory management.
• Perform physical tasks including scanning, bagging items, and moving objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Maintain regular attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance to an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or the ability to obtain it as required by state guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.
