Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing patient care programs, and contributing to the overall quality of service. This is a part-time, paid internship opportunity for Summer 2026.

What you'll do#

• Manage patient care programs to help customers and patients stay healthy.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver positive health outcomes.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and professional pride.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow management.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precise tasks.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
