About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and contributing to a positive team culture. This is a part-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to every patient and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy, compassion, and heart while interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver better health outcomes.
- Facilitate a team culture defined by energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Administer patient immunizations once you meet all state regulations.
- Support daily operations including inventory management, workflow, and quality assurance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
- Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Toms River, New Jersey.
- The position is on-site and part-time.
- Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
