About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional pharmacy practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a structured training roadmap, gaining experience in store, district, and regional operations. This role is designed to prepare you for a future Pharmacist position by building your clinical knowledge and operational expertise.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy teams to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist with prescription fulfillment, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off workflows.
- Provide patient counseling, field medical questions, and solicit medical history under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Deliver patient health care services, such as immunizations and point-of-care testing, where permitted by law.
- Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures, federal regulations, and state laws regarding patient privacy and controlled substances.
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap and key learning experiences to build clinical and technical proficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Strong attention and focus, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and confirm prescription accuracy.
- Commitment to customer service and team orientation, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $23.75 per hour.
