Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on patient care, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy operations. You will contribute to team culture and help manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.

What you'll do#

• Deliver care by modeling company values and demonstrating empathy for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Support patient health through the adoption and management of patient care programs.
• Assist with pharmacy professional practice, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow management.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver better outcomes and align others around the company's purpose.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and established timeframes.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precision work.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Possession of, or active progress toward obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
