Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a significant role in delivering quality patient care, managing pharmacy workflows, and supporting regulatory and quality assurance requirements. This position is designed for students to gain professional experience while contributing to the pharmacy team.

• Manage patient care programs to support customer health.

• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and precise handling of pharmacy items.
• Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
