Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe, effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering quality care, managing patient programs, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations.

What you'll do#

• Deliver care by modeling company values and demonstrating empathy for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Ensure a safe and effective work environment by supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and inventory management.
• Facilitate a positive team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Collaborate with the team to improve health outcomes and support patient care programs.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing finger dexterity for precise tasks.
• Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Possession of, or the process of obtaining, a valid intern or technician license as required by the state.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as reaching, stooping, and extended standing.
