Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering quality care to patients by assisting with patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management. This position is designed for students to gain professional experience while supporting the pharmacy team in delivering patient care programs.

• Support the pharmacy team in managing patient care programs and daily operations.

• Complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching or stooping to move items.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
