Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide exceptional care to patients. You will contribute to a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment by assisting with patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management. This role focuses on adopting and managing patient care programs to help customers maintain their health.

What you'll do#

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to seek new ways to grow and deliver better patient outcomes.
• Foster a team culture centered on caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Align team members with the company purpose of supporting patient health.
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and utilizing precision control for pharmacy tasks.
• Complete all required training and maintain regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
