Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will contribute to a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment, focusing on patient safety, regulatory requirements, and workflow management. This role is designed for students seeking professional growth within a retail pharmacy setting.

What you'll do#

• Deliver exceptional care to patients and customers.
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Maintain a safe and effective work environment, including inventory and quality assurance tasks.
• Perform physical tasks including scanning, bagging, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or the process of obtaining such licensure as required by state guidelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.
