About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and helping customers manage their health needs.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs and support pharmacy professional practice.
- Handle inventory and workflow management tasks, excluding final prescription verification.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide customer service with empathy and compassion.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Maintain a team culture focused on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
