Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional care to patients. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.

What you'll do#

• Manage and adopt patient care programs to support customer health.
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team to seek new ways to grow and improve patient outcomes.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy operations.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
