About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a retail setting. You will contribute to patient care, pharmacy operations, and team culture. This role is designed for students to gain professional experience while supporting the pharmacy team in delivering quality care.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Provide care to patients, including advising on prescriptions and managing chronic conditions.
- Manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture centered on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Handle tasks related to inventory, workflow, and regulatory requirements.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.75 - $42.00 per hour.
