Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, and contributing to a positive team environment. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling application term.

What you'll do#

• Ensure a safe and effective work environment while delivering exceptional care to every patient.
• Manage patient care programs to help customers maintain their health.
• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Handle tasks related to inventory management, workflow, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, scanning, and bagging items.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state, or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
• Immunization eligibility is preferred.

• Pay Range: $20.75 - $42.00 per hour.
