About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while focusing on patient care. This role involves assisting with prescription management and supporting the pharmacy team to ensure high quality service.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with managing chronic or specialty conditions.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Support the pharmacy team with workflow management, inventory, and prescription safety.
- Foster a team culture that encourages energy and caring.
- Complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
- Work in an environment that requires standing, reaching, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and close visual acuity.
