About the role#
This internship program is designed for foreign pharmacy graduates to complete their required US internship hours. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to develop your clinical skills, practice management, and leadership abilities. This role is a full-time, on-site position located in Princeton, Kentucky, with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Process prescriptions, including the translation of SIG codes and product selection.
- Counsel customers and patients under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Support the supervising pharmacist in dispensing medications and monitoring compliance.
- Maintain strict customer and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Assist with pharmacy scheduling activities based on business needs and the local workflow model.
What you'll need#
- A Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent degree from a non-US accredited school of pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of Kentucky.
- Ability to complete all required training and obtain necessary licensure within established guidelines.
- Must be a graduate of a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy.
