About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Napoleon, Ohio, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work directly with our manufacturing facilities to apply engineering concepts to real-world operational challenges. The role requires a commitment of at least 10 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Define manufacturing process issues and collect relevant data.
- Analyze facts to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and review solutions to optimize production.
- Document new processes and update existing procedures.
- Troubleshoot operational issues to reduce downtime.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Technology teams to address process-related activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a Bachelor's Degree program for Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write reports and interpret raw data.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
