About the role#
As a Quality Control Intern, you will work with the QC team to ensure that raw materials and hot mix asphalt meet industry standards. This role provides hands-on experience with testing procedures and safety practices within the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Conduct quality testing on raw materials and installed hot mix asphalt.
- Work alongside team members to ensure products meet standards.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Travel to various QC labs in New Hampshire to observe and participate in testing.
- Learn about safety practices and quality control procedures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or plans to enroll in a college degree program.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to write reports and analyze data.
- A valid driver license.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
