About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the aggregate, mining, and asphalt industries. You will work alongside Mining Engineers, supervisors, and Environmental Managers to learn about the full lifecycle of mining and production. This includes exposure to blasting, material processing, quality testing, and the business side of operations, such as budgeting, throughput costs, and labor requirements.
What you'll do#
- Analyze production workflows to improve efficiency and flow.
- Assist with maintenance projects, including the design, fabrication, and installation of equipment at HMA facilities.
- Travel to various sites across New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont to support operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work extended hours.
- Ability to travel across New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.
