About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the aggregate, mining, and asphalt industries. You will work alongside Mining Engineers, supervisors, and Environmental Managers to learn about the full lifecycle of production. This includes everything from blasting and material processing to quality testing.
What you'll do#
- Review and analyze production workflows to improve efficiency and flow.
- Assist with maintenance projects.
- Design, fabricate, and install equipment at HMA facilities.
- Participate in site visits to various locations across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work extended hours.
- Ability to travel throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
